In these uncertain times, the only thing we can be certain of is how quickly we can access media. The television landscape has changed and not only are the shows better but they are much easier to binge and watch.
So with that in mind, here are 31 Stylish TV Shows that Every Man Should Binge!
Mad Men (2007-2015)

This show has everything for your suit game If you like two-piece suits, look towards Jon Hamm as Don Draper. If you like three-piece suits, look towards John Slattery as Roger Sterling. Watch this show now!
Sherlock (2010 – Present)
Based on the original novels, Sherlock is the show that put Benedict Cumberbatch on the map. Look towards his style throughout the show including his classic overcoat and scarves. Also, Watson (played by Martin Freeman) has many different great outfits that are more military-inspired which is in line with his character.
Suits (2011 – 2019)
A lesser-known style icon of television culture, Gabriel Macht plays the Harvard law graduate, Harvey Specter. Specter’s style throughout the show is very conservative. His normal uniform is an impeccably tailored two-piece Tom Ford suit with peak lapels and a single vent. Specter switches these up throughout the show and his wardrobe is a highlight of the show.
Downton Abbey (2010 – 2015)
A show set during the beginning of the 20th century centering around wealthy British aristocrats, Downton Abbey has so many style lessons to glean from it. From tweed suits to formal wear to classic headwear, there are a ton of lessons to be learned.
House of Cards (2013 – 2018)
Before his fall from grace, Kevin Spacey’s Francis Underwood showed us so many great suits throughout this show. He isn’t the only one looking amazing either! Michael Kelly’s character, Doug Stamper, also looks great in his suits. In fact, every character in this show looks amazing while they’re committing heinous crimes. The show teaches that there are two kinds of pain in the world and bad style is definitely a useless one and Underwood has no patience for useless things.
Peaky Blinders (2013 – Present)
With Peaky Blinders, you get a variety of signature looks that all fall within classic menswear.
Tommy Shelby played by Cillian Murphy is who you need to keep your style eyes on in this show. While all the characters look amazing, Shelby’s style bursts through the screen with his amazing monochromatic outfits. All of the characters also show us how to correctly style and wear newsboy caps which are all coming back into style today.
The Boys (2019 – Present)
This dark comedy is a lesson on bad boy style. Billy Butcher played by Karl Urban is often seen wearing “Hawaiian” style camp shirts and dark pants and an amazing overcoat. He pulls off printed shirts better than anyone. Hughie Campbell played by Jack Quaid also rocks a very nice Harrington jacket throughout much of the show’s first season. If you want to look like a bad boy and have fun while doing it, this is the show for you!
Boston Legal (2004 – 2008)
Every type of suit you can wear in an office job is in this show. Set in the early 2000’s, Boston Legal is a master class on conservative fashion for the workplace. If you only learn one thing from this show, make sure it is to never mess with Denny Crane.
Lucifer (2015 – Present)
Tom Ellis shows all of us exactly how to double down on dark colors and patterns. Not many men can wear a dark shirt under a dark suit, can you?
How I Met Your Mother (2005 – 2014)
The “Legendary” Barney Stinson played by Neil Patrick Harris always looked amazing during the nine-seasonrun of this hit comedy. Barney knows his stuff too and would often tell people style do’s and don’ts. I challenge you to find any outfit that would not look good today that Barney is wearing. Just don’t get any ideas about stealing a blue French Horn.
White Collar (2009 – 2014)
White Collar stars Matthew Bomer as a gentleman thief (a la Thomas Crown) named Neal Caffrey. Caffrey dresses impeccably throughout the show. He favored darker colored suits in grey and navy. He occasionally wore lighter suits in blue and green. He also favored the skinny tie in which he perfectly tailored his lapel width and collar size to match the width of his skinny ties. This is a next level style move that every man should learn and adopt.
30 Rock (2006 – 2013)
Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy looks amazing throughout the entire show. Every single suit is perfectly tailored and styled and is a great guide to any gentleman exactly how to wear a suit and look amazing while doing. It doesn’t matter what body type you are, a perfectly tailored suit will look amazing on any man. To sum up the style of Jack Donaghy, I’ll use a quote from the show. Liz Lemon (Tina Fey): “Why are you in a tux?” Jack Donaghy: “It’s after six. What am I, a farmer?”
Luther (2010 – Present)
Luther knocks it out of the park.
Idris Elba stars as DCI John Luther in this British crime drama. Elba loves to layer in this show with a stunning tweed overcoat over his suits which typically have a pattern of some sort as opposed to a straight color. Layering and different textures = next level styling.
White Gold (2017 – Present)
A British comedy following the interesting adventures of three double-glazing window salesmen, White Gold shows off 1980’s styling extremely well. Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick plays the main character and every single one of his suits are perfectly tailored. He shows us how to incorporate the double-breasted jacket back into our style and has a few casual outfits that serve for great inspiration.
Dexter (2006 – 2013)
A perfect guide to warm-weather style, Dexter shows us an amazing array of linen button-down shirts and chinos in a mostly casual style. Michael C. Hall stars as the serial killer with a code, named Dexter. Even his “killing outfit” has amazing style to it with a classic Henley. Tonight’s the night… to watch Dexter!
